Motion1 is becoming quickly renowned as a quality builder of pontoon and centre console boats.

Its pontoon boat offering includes variants of the Motion1 Eclipse 26, available in double or triple pontoon configurations.

After moving to a new site at Coomera in January, Motion1 owner Marshall Lewis said focus has now turned to building the brand.

“It has been a super positive start to the year, we moved to our new location and we had the Sanctuary Cove Boat Show a month ago now,” Lewis said.

“We’ve got quite a few people on the go from the boat show that are waiting on particular models to be ready as well as a number of positive enquiry we are continuing to work on, the show was a very positive event for Motion1.

“The focus is now on building the brand.

“As far as the local market goes, it’s still strong, especially in the pontoon sector, that is no surprise as we have the best waterways on the Gold Coast for that style of boat with lots of canal systems.

“For the centre console boats and the off-shore fishing we have a stone’s throw away, we’re very lucky to be based here and have all that at the back doorstep.”

“We are about offering a quality product at an affordable price in the market comparative to other brands.”

Headed by Lewis, the team at Motion1 are experienced professionals with a passion for boating and a commitment to excellence.

“The team at Motion1 are first and foremost boating enthusiasts and love getting out on the water,” Lewis said.

“I’ve been on the Gold Coast for 25 years and using the waterways is what drove me to into a career in the marine industry.

“I’ve spent 15 years in the marine industry and for 10 of those years I worked for the biggest Sea-Doo dealer in the world.

“An opportunity then presented itself to build a product and brand here locally on the Gold Coast and that is how I arrived at Motion1.

“It is a great organisation to be involved in, we’re about offering a market-quality product at the right pricing and pride ourselves on our customer service.”
