SPOTLIGHT: Amanda Cobb, Jigsaw Communications

Founded in 2012 by Amanda Cobb, Jigsaw Communications is a media and communications agency that specialises in Australia’s motorsport industry.

From individual racers to the largest events and venues in the country, Jigsaw Communications has the experience and the reputation to service clients across the country.

Cobb grew up around the go-karting tracks of Queensland, first watching her dad take to the track before pulling on a helmet herself at age 11, racing on both dirt and bitumen until the age of 21.

While always a ‘middle of the pack’ racer, a love of motorsport had been born and Cobb set her mind to studying public relations with the ultimate goal of being the media manager for the Gold Coast Indy.

Just 12 months after graduating with distinction from QUT, she landed her dream job as part of the team at leading motorsport PR agency BAM Media, where she was the media manager for the Gold Coast motorsport event, for the 2008 Gold Coast Indy, 2009 SuperGP, and the 2010 Gold Coast 600, Queensland drag racing facility Willowbank Raceway, as well as other motorsport clientele.

A stint in corporate communications followed for 2011, but it was not long before a freelance career beckoned with motorsport again calling, leading to the establishment of Jigsaw Communications.

Since 2012, Jigsaw Communications has earned a name for quality, commitment, and results, delivered with a no-nonsense attitude and a commitment to going the extra mile.

Celebrating 10 years in 2022, from individual racers to the largest events and venues in the country, Jigsaw Communications has the experience and the reputation to service clients across the country.

Jigsaw Communications’ clientele has spanned all levels of Australian motorsport, including work with Supercars teams and drivers such as Andre Heimgartner, national level circuit racing series such as the Australian Production Cars brought to you by Liqui Moly, the Australian National Drag Racing Association, leading Top Fuel and Top Doorslammer outfits as well as sportsman racers, the Australian Automotive Aftermarket Association, and more.

Jigsaw Communications also provides services to those who aren’t involved in motorsport but are still looking for results.
